Auch dieses Jahr fand vom 3. bis 5. Juli 2009 im Hotel Pfeiffermühle in Wertach ein internationales Treffen der Freundes Papua Neuguineas (PNG) mit ca. 40 Personen statt. Die Teilnehmer kamen aus Deutschland, Italien, Großbritannien, Schweden und sogar eine Delegation aus Kasachstan war mit von der Partie! Höhepunkt war wieder einmal ein sehr gelungenes Mumu, danke allen, die mitgeholfen haben, besonders Wesley für die schweißtreibende Arbeit am Feuer, danke für das tolle Wetter und danke Heino für die Fotos.
The 8th International Meeting of the Friends of Papua New Guinea was again held in Hotel Pfeiffermuehle, Wertach, Germany from 3 to 5 July 2009. This year about 40 participants met who came from PNG, Germany, Italy, Sweden, UK and even as far as from Kasachstan! Highlight of the meeting was the preparation of a traditional Papua New Guinean dish called "mumu", cooked in the earth oven. Thanks for the helping hands who prepared the delicious meal, thanks to Wesley, for the perfect timing, thanks for the nice weather and thanks to Heino for the photos.
